I am a newbie under time constraints and need some knowledgeable answers fast to my questions so I can advise my contractor.

We learned we could pre-wire the basement for home theater and for speakers throughout. We have locations and speakers selected. They are the Polk RC80i and RC60i for the HT LF/RF and LR/RR, and the Polk RC6 for the rest of the house.

Question: do i need to run two sets of wires to each HT speaker location or will one run be for left and the other be for the right?

Also, for my RC6’s that are stereo speakers, can i connect the amp on one run of wires or do i need to also lay two runs to each house speaker location?

I thank everyone in advance that responds and I apologize in advance if this is such a basic question as to be annoying.
Thank you Ju and Daniel for answering, but you gave conflicting answers. Eek! Is it a pair of wires (meaning two individual wires) or just one wire with two conductors inside? THX!
